Hi.
I'm on holiday. :) Raya break gave me two days (officially) off school. Which is nice. But you know what's better? That my lecturers are awesomepants and cancelled classes for the rest of the week.
THAT'S better.
So yes. Like a lot of you guys, I have the whole week off. *does gremlin dance*
But I've gotta spend majority of it working. As in studying. And writing essays. And being productive. *stops gremlin dancing*
BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT I HAVE TO STOP HAVING A GOOD TIME.
Okay, I apologise for sounding a bit mad. I can't really explain this mood I'm in at the moment.
After I post this, I'm going to shower and try to wash it off. The first shower today must have been insufficient.
Ha. I drove home from the gardening shop today after lunch. I think I gave my parents matching coronaries. Looks like I'm gonna need a bit more practice before letting them in the car again.
Mum thinks I drive too fast.
Suppose she's right, but I was afraid of driving too slow on a road where there are other cars driving at normal, I'vebeendrivingforever speeds. They all overtook anyway, so I suppose it didn't really make a difference.
*shrug*
More updates as that progresses.
I thought I had more to say today, but I think my attention span can't last an

of rollers and coasters
HAI.
The air conditioning unit in my room refuses to work. I am quite upset at it. Temperatures lately have not been kind, and I already have a very low tolerance for heat. This is NOT working for me.
Isokay, though. Sometime next week, someone will come fix it and everything will be right again in the world.
On the list of this week's achievements, we have the christening of our vacuum cleaner.
Everyone, meet Trevor:

He's super cool. The only thing about him that I have a problem with is that, more often than not, he rolls over my foot or scrapes my heel.
I forgive him, though, because he's the reason my friends don't die of dust allergies when they visit my room. It's a big room that NEEDS Trevor.
Trevor is cool and all, but he isn't the reason I was inspired to appear tonight. Something else happened. Something epic.
Tonight, being a Saturday, was go out for dinner night for the family. We decided to go for Korean food in Tropicana City Mall.
Heh. Actually, we decided to go to Tropicana City Mall, then decided to eat Korean food.
The food was decent, and I was satisfied. The guy who brought us our bill (henceforth referred to as Coolwaiterguy) cheerfully asked how the food was and apologised for the lacking service. (It was a busy night, and most of the waiters were consistently occupied.) I thought it was pretty cool of him to say that.
To recognise bad service, you'd have to know what good service is in the first place.
ANYWAY.
Alex left the restaurant first, claiming he needed to 'get out of there'. I followed a bit behind. I saw Coolwaiterguy standing by the cash register. The conversation went pretty much like this:
Coolwaiterguy: *nods and smiles*
Me: *grins back*
Coolwaiterguy: Thank you.
Me: Thanks. (because I felt that 'you're welcome' or anything of the sort was an awkward response.)
Coolwaiterguy: *turns towards counter*
Me: *continues walking*
Coolwaiterguy: *turns back* Here, a present for you. *hands me two coasters*
Me: *takes them* Cool. Thanks!
Coolwaiterguy: They're coasters.
Me: Awesome!
I gave him another huge smile and walked out eager to brag to Alex about the awesomeness that is my life.
I have new coasters!

I don't know if this is something that happens to everyone that goes in and out of there, but I was the only one in my family who received a pair and that was enough to make me feel pretty darn special.
It just made my day that little bit more awesome.
:)
Hope you're all well.

and we hit the books once again
Hello.
It's been a small forever, and I always say that. So from now on, I'm going to stop saying that. I'll just show up as and when I please. Yes. Sometimes it gets annoying, no? When someone keeps apologising for their absence AS IF people actually miss them when they're gone?
I think it's annoying.
So this is me saving you all from my could-be-artificially-heightened sense of self importance.
Okay?
Okay.
Cool.
College has resumed, obviously. I'm working harder than I have been and am studying more than I have been and am struggling less than I have been. Good development? I think 'yes'.
My results from the last set of papers weren't exactly what you'd call 'decent', which is why I have this sudden new urge to WORK.
It's not really an urge. More like a calling. I either work, or fail. It's pretty clear cut.
Being back in school reminds me how much I actually miss people's company during the holidays. Because as relaxing as they are, they tend to get a bit lonely.
It's not really that fun to have a laughing fit on your own.
Had a good yesterday. Had a good today. I can only hope the same for tomorrow.
Hope you're all well.

A feast fit for a king. And another. And another. And another.
HELLO BLOG. :)
I'm proud of myself for keeping this up longer than I have in a while.
Went to uncle's place for dinner.
You couldn't possibly imagine how much I had been looking forward to this all week. Aunt cooks SOAMAZINGLYYOUWOULDNOTEVENBELIEVE.
There was so much food. GOOD food. Of course I used the opportunity to stuff my face. I think I had to have eaten about a weeks worth of my normal consumption. (Okayokay, a bit exaggerated. Half a week. Hee.)
Look at this feast:
Do you know what you are seeing?
You are looking at butter prawns, marmite chicken, fried sotong, THE BEST FISH EVER, a bucket load of crab, a wok's worth of mushrooms, fried lettuce (I think. I didn't really pay attention to that one) and eggplant/brinjal/aubergine cooked...somehow (didn't pay attention either).
[Cheryl, I realise you are quite disgusted. It's alright. I'll still be your friend.]
That's a crazy amount of food for ten and a half people. (Adam doesn't eat that much.)
Dad thought it'd be a good idea to bring durian too. Can you IMAGINE? Everyone was stuffed, and still were tucking into it.
Normally, I'd join in the durian related festivities. But tonight, I stayed away. D'you ever notice how the smell tends to linger for, often, a couple of days?
On average, I take about three showers a day.
If the smell can STILL linger after that, you can bet it's not going anywhere anytime soon.
Don't get me wrong. It doesn't really bother me. I've just gotta be in a lot of places with a lot of people, and not everyone appreciates the unique, uh, odour.
I'm just trying to be considerate, here.
:)
So YEAH. That was my made of awesome evening.
Random photo of my feet in my uncle's HUMUNGOLOSUS slippers:

If you didn't know already, I don't exactly have dainty, little feet. Those slippers are quite the large.
Alright, alright. I seem to have gone on a bit more than I had planned to. I have to get some sleep.
Long day tomorrow.
I'm excited.
Hope you're all well.
BAI.

Watch your mouth oh oh oh
Hello, interweb.
I don't have a hugely exciting day to talk about.
But I do have an incident to talk about. And yes, I'm gonna be a bit serious. So if you're not in the mood for that, I suppose you could just skip over this entry and wait for the next one to show up.
Everything I'm gonna talk about at the moment happened on one of those days. You know, when you wake up and you can't find the energy to physically pull yourself out of bed?
Yeah.
I had been sneezing a lot and was on Panadol Cold & Flu (which makes you SOOOOO sleepy, it's ridiculous). But I had to stay awake. I was going out.
Needless to say, I was irritable. My body felt like deadweight. My head was spinning slightly, and I wanted to crawl under a rock to die.
Still. None of this excuses what happened next.
I used my crappy mood to license my actions. I started getting unnecessarily mouthy with everyone. It was uncalled for, and I really should have kept myself in check.
I crossed the line more than a couple of times.
This is not something I am proud of.
Waking up the next day was worse.
I thought about everything that had gone down, and couldn't help but hate myself a little bit.
You can't take back words, and though I didn't say anything particularly spiteful, I wish I could've kept my mouth shut. I was just taking my frustration out on my friends.
All that comes out of this experience is me feeling like a bad person and other people being rightfully mad at me.
So next time round, I plan to keep my mouth shut.
It's not worth it.
[I was gonna sign off with the purple smiley face, like I do usually, but I somehow don't see that as being appropriate.]
Hope you're well.

P.S. I have, since, apologised. I don't feel any better about it.
